Church Presents Juicy Development Prospect in Humboldt Park

New, 6 comments

For the crafty developer, one mid-sized church and rectory at the Humboldt/Wicker border awaits a residential conversion. We'd call it awfully strange but the same thing has already occurred several times in this part of town. The listing does give lip service to other non-profits that may want to occupy a functioning church building, but condos are the greater probability. The enchanting space already comes with four bathrooms, but only one bed—presumably for the priest. There's much work to be done but the payoff could justify it. Just look at all the great windows, the woodwork, balcony, and immense space. The ask? $900K.
