PriceChopper

Just two weeks ago, this property won Curbed's languishing on the market distinction. Now, the seller of this former temple and quasi-institutional structure in Hyde Park has finally done what's needed: chop the price significantly. A year ago, the would-be 8/6 single-family home cut its ask from $800K to $650K. That clearly didn't do the trick (it takes a lot of incentive to move a place this weird and rugged toward occupancy), so another $150K cut just came down. Whatever happened to small incremental price reductions? It might not have come to this. Anyhow, now this strange property is yours for $499K. [@properties, previously]
