PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from a property listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Monday we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!
When you think "concentration of wealth", not much beats the "top tier" condo tower at 950 N Michigan Avenue. It stores more riches than several square blocks of vintage Near North townhomes. The 42nd floor unit pitched to the masses for a round of PriceSpotter is stylized and proportioned to hold a superiority to the street below. The minimally-adorned spaces have simple crisply-cut windows, an elegant kitchen, wildly-mirrored dining room, leathery master bedroom, and custom designs throughout. But what we really dig is the media room with its wood paneling and shimmering cubby bar. New-to-market, the initial asking price is $1.875M— nailed by the sixth and final guess (although the guy claims to have been to the unit). Two other guesses came within $100K— no easy task unless you're up on the comps. Thanks for playing!
