PoMo Deathmatch: Semifinal 1- 333 W. Wacker v. Harold Washington Library

New, 3 comments

Welcome to the first run of Archigames, a new Curbed game wherein nominated local buildings of a particular style are matched up in sudden death pairings to decide the most suitable representative of said style. This week it's Postmodern (PoMo), and the first of two semifinals is below. Brush up on the nominees, but always defer to your tastes when casting your vote. Polls close tomorrow at noon. Thanks for playing!

The votes have been tallied, and that can only mean one thing, folks. It's time for our first semifinal, which pits Harold Washington Library against 333. W. Wacker. Both buildings won in convincing fashion, but this strikes as a David vs. Goliath type battle considering the rampant popularity of 333 W. Wacker. For all you die-hard Harold Washington fans, here's your chance to play spoiler and stage an upset. So, will it be the shining jewel on the riverbend or the well-mannered central library building? Let us know who you think deserves to be a finalist.
