Guess the Ask on this Lakeview 4-bed w/ 2-story Living Room

New, 4 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Monday we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: A 4/3.5 three-story Lakeview single-family, built in 2006.
Square Footage: 3,750.

The Skinny: If you're gonna crack the price, here's the stuff you should know: While many living rooms get their cachet from furnishings and fireplaces, this one has the added drama of double-height ceilings and a hanging loft level. The house's four wood-burning fireplaces means you're never far from pig-on-a-spit. There's a garage-top deck and another just for grilling. And the kitchen comes with a butler's pantry (butler is extra) and an imported island (granite, of course)! We can't help commenting that on the approach, the house's brick & limestone fortifications are undermined by a catastrophically large front window. New to market, there have been no price adjustments. Take a stab at the price, and later, we'll toast to our poverty.

Update: As usual, it takes a little more time and coaxing than expected to activate participation in PriceSpotter. And, as usual, we have nothing but positive vibrations to offer in return. Thanks to our anonymous player for the lone guess to date. We'll tell you that you're not far off. Jump in gang! The Big Reveal is Monday.
