"I think it would be nice if they'd connect upper Wacker with Harbor Drive. I know that would be an expensive expansion, and some may see it as car centric, but the Lakeshore East development's biggest drawback is that it is so far off the normal street grid. I like that park over there, and I love the Aqua, but I think they should try to connect it more on the northeast side with downtown. Right now, you have to walk down Harbor to get to Randolph, and then Randolph to get to Michigan. You can also use the stairs to get to upper Wacker. Either way, it makes walking a little less convenient, and I know from colleagues who work over there that this lack of convenience makes them a little more car reliant than a central location like that should be." —Joe Graham [The Latest on the Latest Lakeshore East Tower]
