Large 3-bed in a Converted Bucktown Church asks $929K

New, 3 comments

In a small Bucktown church conversion, what's likely the building's largest unit hit the market today for $929K. The 3/3.5 ground floor condo measures 3,600 square feet including the basement media/rec room. One of seven units built into the 1891 church, vestiges of holier days are present in the arched windows, wooden beams, and high ceilings, though they're worn more conspicuously by the building's facade. New remodeling targeted three bathrooms, the kitchen, and lighting. Our only grievance is with the basement, which doesn't at all harmonize with the quality spaces above. Not pictured but promised: private outdoor space and garage. The location, at Webster and Hamilton, is a short stroll from boutique-y Damen.
