Chicago Mag's Dennis Rodkin heads to Lake View's Terra Cotta Row to give his signature treatment to incredibly decadent Henry Rokham house, on the market for $2.495M. Incidentally, that's the same price as Wright's Heller House. They're both highly unique too. The Rokham house is one of four large terra cotta houses on the 1000 block of West Oakdale. An officer of the Northwest Terra Cotta Company, an influential design presence in 19th century Chicago, Rokham and others used their own homes as company showpieces. Tour the home with Rodkin and drink in the fantastic stained glass windows and tile work too. The decor is a drug. So what'll it be, Heller or Rokham? [Deal Estate]
