PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments.
In hazarding their guesses on the price of this Lake View faux-triplex, our readers weren't distracted in the least by architectural gimmicks. All of the guesses were close but high, as a modest up-pricing was expected owing to the marketability of the quirks and general strangeness. The actual asking price: $249,900. One anonymous guest said that's exactly where it should be given its size. Seems the seller isn't trying anything fancy. Given the space's experiments produced some awkwardness (like with the sliver of a balcony and the railing's cheapness), the tame ask is probably sensible. As always, thanks for playing!
