"Wow. While it's smaller, this is even more encouraging than the dorm tower we saw on Monday. This area of Roosevelt is TERRIBLE right now - so much potential squandered with auto-centric strip mall/big-box/parking lot development. Having some residents in the area and some proper urban development is a HUGE plus. Yes, transit connections aren't great, but there are a number of nearby buses, the Red Line isn't all that far, and you're pretty close to downtown. Hopefully this is the start of something. Scariest line in the Crain's story is that this area could be the "South Side's answer to the busy North and Clybourn retail district." Ugghhhh." —Clark Wellington [A Big Plan to Bring 460 Apartments, New Retail to South Loop]
