Two significant opportunities for a sneak preview of Navy Pier redesign concepts are just around the corner. Block off Jan. 31-Feb. 2 on your calendars: that's when the finalists will present their plans at the MCA and offer up displays at CAF. The exhibit opens on the last day. Each of the five final teams will give a 30-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute Q & A period. The winning bid for the $85M redesign will be announced as early as mid-February, but according to Blair Kamin, the pier's board isn't bound by public opinion. They can choose to listen, or not.
