Interested in a chronicle of preservation failures and on-going battles? The Gapers Block "To be Demolished" list will gradually compile 100 interesting, important, or otherwise gape-inducing Chicago properties facing the death sentence. Each building has, at one point, been on the city's demolition "hold list", and thus has some controversy attached to it. Gapers is giving each building the royal treatment over the course of the year, with a detailed profile and status report. The result is a neat-and-tidy resource for concerned citizens.
