Soon after it hit the market in April, we took a look at this large (4,700-square-foot), modern single-family home in the East Village. As we noted in that post, the Studio Dwell-designed home won a 2005 Citation of Merit from the AIA, and it sold for $1.38 million later that year. The market has changed quite a bit since then, but there still seems to be pretty solid demand for high-end, modern homes in Near West Side neighborhoods like Wicker Park, Bucktown and the East Village. After listing for $1.65 million in April, this place ended up selling for $1.25 million earlier this week.
