This Is What 1225 Old Town Will Look Like

New, 7 comments

In the months since developer Hines Interests announced plans to build a new apartment complex at 1225 N. Wells St. in Old Town, the general shape of the building has remained roughly the same, but the design has been tweaked and refined a bit. (Remember this?) After we ran our little construction update on 1225 Old Town yesterday, we received word from Hines that the rendering we had posted was a bit dated, and in an effort to "more accurately capture the aesthetic quality of the building," the developer sent along these new images from Hartshorne Plunkard. Thanks, Hines! Nothing is more important to Curbed than accurately capturing the aesthetic quality of a building. The aerial shot is above, and the street-level rendering (which can also be seen on the 1225 Old Town website) is after the jump.
