Back in May, the Sun-Times reported that the principals of the planned Ravenswood Station development were "giving off bad vibes." Six months later, the vibes appear to be trending upward. The development team is still planning to go forward with the project, according to Center Square Journal. Silver Rock Development Group has taken Magellan's role as lead developer, and with Sears, the landowner, the company plans to break ground on the mixed-use development in August 2012. The new plan calls for three condo buildings with 160 units and 161,144 square feet of retail, including a Mariano's grocery store and a bank. CSJ has posted the entire zoning application with additional renderings.
