Two Months Later, Kevin Heisner-Designed Condo Sells

New, 1 comment

A couple of months ago, we ran a little post about this recently-rehabbed condo in Wicker Park, and readers seemed rather smitten by it. As we mentioned in our previous post, the kitchens and baths were redesigned by Kevin Heisner, who has lent his design touch to several trendy restaurants around town. Listing agent Peggy Matson emailed to say that the place looks even better in person, and a commenter chimed in to say that they'd toured it and it looked "AMAZING," but that it had already been sold. Turns out, they were right. The sale closed this week on the 3BD, 2BA condo for $480,000 — just $20,000 below the list price. What does this teach us about the current real estate market? Kevin Heisner-designed homes, if priced right, will sell. Fast.
