After developer Sertus Capital Partners announced a switch from condos and a hotel to rental apartments earlier this summer, Epstein went back to the drawing board and returned with a new rendering of the planned 20-story building. Although the general shape of the building remains pretty similar to previous renderings, there are some significant changes. The height of the building will remain roughly the same, according to Trib Local, but it looks like more bulk will be added along Forest Ave., and a row of cantilevered balconies have been added. The developer still needs to pass the changes by the Plan Commission and the village board before it can move forward with the new plan.
