Rahm Moves Home, Rides Brown Line

New, 2 comments

100 days after taking office, Mayor Emanual and his family have moved back into their North Side home, which recently got a fresh coat of paint when renter Rob Halpin moved out. At a press conference this morning, the mayor sounded pretty primed to be back home. "After I worked out this morning, I had breakfast with my son. Most importantly, I went to Beans & Bagels, got my coffee, got on the Montrose Brown Line," he told the press. "Got on the train and got to work in 30 minutes, short order. That is a competitive advantage for the city," he added. [Chicago Tribune]
