Bike Corral for Andersonville?

Last month, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for Chicago's first on-street bike corral in Wicker Park. Now, folks up in Andersonville are thinking about adding one of their own. Back in 2004, an Andersonville bike corral plan was shot down by CDOT, but there's a new sheriff in town. "Seeing that the city seems to have become more open to the idea, we will be researching this again," Andersonville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ellen Shepard told Edgeville Buzz. Architect Thom Greene produced a rendering for a proposed bike corral at Clark and Farragut. [Edgeville Buzz]
