Not all artists live in drafty, unfinished Pilsen lofts. The folks at Justfloorplans.com recently sent along the floorplan for this cavernous compound in Highland Park, which, according to Blockshopper, belongs to artist Helen Weisman. The curvy, 6,200-square-foot home sits on a one-acre lot and has a large master suite on the ground floor with a lofted space that overlooks the backyard pool. The home was built in the late '80s, and it's still loaded with period decor, including a ribbon of neon light that wraps around the home office. (Photos of the interior here.) The home has been on the market since 2009, when it was listed for $2.49 million. It's now priced at $1.99 million.
