Back in May, a reader noticed that the wood block alley behind the Archbishop's mansion on the Gold Coast had been dug up. Another reader soon chimed in, reporting that the alley was being restored as part of a city-sponsored restoration project. Today, Skyline newspaper reports that the alley, which is on the National Register, is being "painstakingly repaved with spiffy new wood blocks." Click through to see an updated photo. [Skyline]
