Nate Berkus Feelin' the PriceChopper Pain in the Gold Coast

When TV designer Nate Berkus listed his Gold Coast condo in January, it promised to settle once and for all the longstanding and question of how much a Nate Berkus-designed (and lived in) home is worth on the open market. The answer: Not as much as Nate Berkus thinks it's worth. Berkus bought the place in 2003 for $1.5 million, and he later listed it for $2.65 million. Quite the markup, but he did put some serious work into the unit. Now, after three price reductions, it's inching back down towards 2003 territory (although it still has a ways to go). The 3BD, 4BA condo is now priced at $2.15 million.
