"You'll want to do rehab to modernize the systems & to freshly finish it," says the listing for this 115-year-old Hyde Park home, which is to be expected for a home that's selling for $100 per square foot. The vintage, six-bedroom home has been on the market for about three months, and although it does probably need a bit of work, it also looks like there are some great architectural details in there. Listing photos show pretty inlays on the hardwood floors, a nice built-in dining hutch, and a funky old fireplace. However, the home has just two full bathrooms to go with those six bedrooms, and the one shown in the listing photo could use an upgrade. The 2,264-square-foot home is located at the corner of 52nd and Kenwood, just a block away from the recently-expanded Hyde Park Produce. The home hit the market in May for $269,000, and it was reduced this week to $229,000.
