Park View Hotel Set To Reopen as 'Hotel Lincoln'

While we've been focusing on the apartment boomlet over the past several months, high-end hotel industry has been experiencing a mini boom of its own (JW Marriott, Public, Longham, Ivy, Radisson Blu, to name a few). Over the weekend, Joie de Vivre, a California-based boutique hotel company, announced that it will open a new hotel in the 12-story building at Clark and Lincoln in Lincoln Park. The 184-room hotel will be called 'Hotel Lincoln,' according to the Tribune, and it's scheduled to open in February. Previously, that building housed a Days Inn. Earlier this year, the restaurant in the building's ground floor was rebranded and reopened as Perennial Virant; that restaurant will provide room service to the new hotel. Additionally, Hotel Lincoln will have an all-season rooftop bar and a new lobby bar and lounge, according to a press release obtained by HotelChatter.
