The details of what Roosevelt Collection's new owners are planning are still unclear, but it sure looks like they're aiming to build three high-rises on the undeveloped northern portion of the site. SkyscraperCity superstar spyguy noticed some new site plans and elevation renderings on the McCaffery Interests website, which clearly show three large high-rises clustered together north of the Showplace Icon theater. The previous developer, Centrum Properties, had planned to build one high-rise there, but that plan was derailed when the economy collapsed. Last month, Canyon-Johnson Urban Fund and McCaffery Interests teamed up to acquire the property, and it looks like they're cooking up something big.
