The Adler Planetarium has a newly redesigned welcome gallery, designed by Thomas Roszak Architecture, and it looks fantastic. The shape-shifty fabric walls and ceiling double as a projection surface and they change colors to tell visitors when a movie is about to begin. "We wanted people to stop thinking about driving and parking, and start thinking about the mysteries of the universe," Adler president Paul Knappenberger told the Architect's Newspaper of the planetarium's goal for the room. A/N and Thomas Roszak have more photos.
