If there's one neighborhood that confuses Chicagoans more than any other, it's West Town. Because it's both a neighborhood and a vast community area that includes neighborhoods as far apart as Humboldt Park and River West, the name 'West Town' is used widely, but not always accurately. The AV Club reports that a bunch of listings on Craigslist have been describing the 'no man's land' south of Humboldt Park and west of Smith Park as West Town. [AV Club]
