A Post-Apocalyptic House Tour in Humboldt Park

New, 2 comments

Ever wonder what a house that's been through a fire and was later vandalized looks like on the inside? This ought to give you a pretty good idea. The roof is blown off in the back; the ceilings and are caved in everywhere; there's mold throughout; and there are gaping holes in all of the walls, where vandals stripped out anything of value ("no copper plumbing, no electricity, no furnace," says the listing). We're kind of amazed that the listing agent (or some adventurous real estate photographer) bothered to climb through this mess to take the listing photos. It can be yours for $50,000.
