Triangle Building?

After whiffing on public funding for upgrades to Wrigley Field in the fall, the Cubs are stepping up to the plate again, looking for input on what to do with the Triangle parcel, just west of the stadium. A survey will ask neighbors if they'd like to see an outdoor cafe, a farmers market, bowling alley, movie theater, boutique hotel, or the continuation of the temporary ice rink that has been there in recent winters. Without public funding, the odds of any of those things getting built (except, maybe, for the ice rink) are longer than the Cubs' shot at the pennant this year. [Sun-Times]
