Vintage Wicker Park Condo with Design Help from Kevin Heisner

New, 6 comments

Here's a place that should look sort of familiar to those who frequent dining and cocktail hotspots like Violet Hour, Nightwood, and Bangers & Lace. Why? Because Kevin Heisner, the designer who gave each of those establishments their distinctive look, apparently spruced up the kitchen and baths in this recently-rehabbed Wicker Park condo. And indeed, it does have the rustic wood paneling, and the minimal, farmhouse-chic look that's become a staple of fine dining decor in recent years. Square footage is withheld from the listing, but it looks like a fairly large apartment. According to the listing, the living room was expanded, swallowing up the third bedroom, so the unit now has two bedrooms and two full baths. The place last sold for $390,000 in 2004, and it's now priced at an even $500,000.
