Remember that surrealist home that restaurateur Jerry Kleiner is selling in West Town? When we last spoke with listing agent Karen Peterson back in February, she was disappointed to report her photographer had been unable to access the backyard because snow was blocking the gate. Well, the snow has finally cleared, and some new photos of the home's exterior have been added to the listing. Behind the tall, curvy gate (virtually identical to the one at Via Ventuno — formerly Room 21 — in the South Loop), there's a large putting green, where the eccentric restaurateur presumably works on his short game, flanked by a sunken hot tub. Putting greens aren't exactly commonplace in urban landscape design, but the space seems pretty understated for Kleiner.
