If you a stroll through the southern portion of Grant Park, it's hard to miss the big blue high-rise that's taking shape next door to the Auditorium Building. That would be Roosevelt University's new Vertical Campus, which will officially be topped off tomorrow morning, when the final steel beam will be hoisted up to the 32nd floor at 10:30AM, according to a press release. The building, however, is still far from complete. We visited the construction site over the weekend and found that a little less than half of the 32 floors have been covered in deep-blue glass. It'll be interesting to see how the Roosevelt building's different shades of blue look next to the bright red CNA Plaza building when construction is completed.
