Construction Moving Forward on Lincoln Park Plaza

New, 2 comments

A couple of months ago, shovel met dirt at Lincoln Park Plaza, a new six-unit development at the corner of Lincoln and Kenmore. So far, workers have been focusing on the underground garage, as seen on Foster Design Build's regular Twitter and Facebook updates. The underground parking is nice, but what attracted our attention to the development when we wrote about it last fall is the intensive green roof, that will include live trees and solar panels. When we spoke with FDB president Bob Berg in November, he told us that the developer plans to live in the penthouse and rent the other five units. Then, later, he plans to condo the five apartments. A press release issued in January estimated that construction will take 16 to 18 months, so even though it's a small development, it won't be finished any time soon.
