With the clock striking midnight, the the Commission on Chicago Landmarks has finally made a move. Blair Kamin reports that the commission put Prentice Women's Hospital, which Northwestern University is looking to demolish, on the agenda for its Thursday meeting. As Kamin notes, "the move by no means guarantees that old Prentice will be approved for protected status," but it at least has a chance. [Cityscapes]
