Looking to Climb Around this Urban Treehouse? Not So Fast...

New, 3 comments

The listings have been removed from the MLS, and any evidence of Urban Treehouse has been scrubbed from Ranquist Development's website. The sign at 1849 N. Hermitage has been taken down, and it's been replaced with a smaller sign warning that the premises are guarded by a K-9 security force. A year ago, YoChicago reported that with the help of Seattle-based Miller Hull Partnership, Ranquist would convert the old Sisters of the Resurrection convent into 10 high-end condos. Since then, we've heard very little about the gut-rehab (and we've been unable to reach Bob or Karen Ranquist for comment so far). Similarly, nothing seems to be stirring at Domain1700.
