Over the weekend, 42nd Ward Ald. Brendan Reilly announced that he persuaded Northwestern to delay applying for a permit to demolish Prentice Hospital for for 60 days. But, as Lynn Becker notes, "Northwestern loses nothing by conceding the 60 days," because they wouldn't have been able to begin demolition until September, anyway.
