Stunning 'House of Light' Hits the Market for $3.2 Million

New, 2 comments

The aptly-named House of Light came back on the market in Old Town Triangle yesterday, and it looks pretty spectacular. The home was designed by architect Larry Booth and built in 1983; according to the listing this is the first time it's been on the market in more than two decades. From the AIA guide to Chicago: "The widely-imitated plan overcomes the disadvantages of the narrow city lot with a central stairwell that floods the interior with daylight." No kidding. The place has three bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and 4,900 square feet of floor space. It's priced at $3.2 million.
