Ted Lilly's N. Side Home Can't Find the Strike Zone; Lowers Again

Won't anyone buy this home owned by former Cubs / current Dodgers pitcher and all around good guy Ted Lilly? (We don't actually know him, but he sure looks like a nice guy.) Almost six months have passed since Lilly put his 5BD, 5BA Wrigleyville home on the market for $2.4 million, and there it has sat, like a hanging breaking ball just waiting to be... Well, you know. Last week, Lilly lowered the price for the third time — this time by $150K — bringing it down to $1.85 million. That's $300K less than Lilly paid for the house when it was new in 2007. The 5,400-square-foot home sits on a corner lot, and it comes with two roof decks, a 2.5-car garage, a sauna, and a massive wine cellar.
