There's something about the John Hancock Center that brings out the home decorating eccentricity in people. A couple weeks ago, we brought you this bubble gum-and-paisley mess on the 85th floor. Now, at the complete other end of the spectrum, let's turn our attention to an uber-minimalist, museum-like 1BD, 2BA on the 81st floor. According to the listing, the 1,369-square-foot unit was recently given a gut-rehab, and in the process it was converted from a 2BD to a 1BD. The master bath has a "lavish spa like moonlighting steam shower," but we're more interested in the second bath, which has a silver mule or goat chilling in the shower. A built-in stereo system, lightology lighting and modern kitchen finishes were also added when the unit was rehabbed. The condo last sold for $425,000 in 2008, and it's currently listed for $695,000.
