We've linked to a couple of stories in the past week about Target's reported interest in opening a store at Cabrini-Green, but today the Sun-Times has some news on the development. Target is in land-swap talks with the CHA, and the company is planning to trade a piece of land "equal in value" to the 5-acre site where the William Green Homes (the "whites") once stood. The deal would require Target to hire 75 CHA residents at the new store, according to a CHA spokesman. [Sun-Times]
