Work Begins on New-Construction Condos in the West Loop

Back in January, Quest Realty owner Jason Vondrachek intimated that he'd be breaking ground on a new condo development at an undisclosed location in the West Loop. For more than two months the suspense has been gnawing away at us (actually, we'd completely forgotten about it), until this morning, when one of the SkyscraperCity 'boarders linked to an announcement about the planned building. And look at that: A backhoe has begun clearing rubble away on a fenced-off site at Madison and Throop. The rendering shows a pair of nondescript four-story buildings, each of which will have six units. Scott Sasse's Facebook update says the 1,700-square-foot 3BD,2BA units will be priced from $460,000, and the 2,000-square-foot 3BD,2BA duplexes will be priced from $565,000.
