Overshadowed by calls for community gardens and a 'low line' was a very reasonable proposal in the Lakeview Area Master Plan to make the intersection of Lincoln, Belmont and Ashland a bit safer and less intimidating. Blair Kamin reports that CDOT is looking at ways to reconfigure the mega intersection by making it more pedestrian- and bike-friendly, and that $1.25M is currently available for planning and design.
