After all that excitement it's beginning to sound like reason might actually win out. The Chicago Children's Museum announced this morning that it will consider staying at Navy Pier. But it isn't quite time for residents of 340 on the Park and Buckingham Plaza to begin dancing in the streets. A spokesperson said the museum would consider staying at Navy Pier if certain conditions are met (expanding the facility, cheaper parking), but the statement also says that the museum is still planning to move to Grant Park, according to the Trib. Here's an question worth considering: Why can't these kids just go to one of the city's regular museums, which are themselves largely geared towards children?
