The backyard has a large deck surrounded by flagstones. Nice as it may look, can the home really fetch $350,000 on that stretch of Ohio Street, surrounded by vacant lots? A quick sampling of recent home sales south of Chicago Avenue in Humboldt shows only one home — a new-construction condo — that sold for more than $300K (it actually sold for $302,500) in the past six months. This place went into foreclosure in 2002, and it last sold in 2004 for $182,000. It's also listed for rent for $1,800/mo.
