Say goodbye to the rectory at St. Boniface, because much of it has been reduced to rubble already. The East Village Association blog reported last month that demolition of the rectory was imminent and that under the redevelopment agreement, demolition had to be completed by Jan. 30. Developer IPM doesn't appear to have met that deadline, but they're pretty close. Most of the church will be razed as well (although the towers will remain) to make way for 125 units of senior housing. Follow the link below to view Vasilko Architects and Associates' renderings.
