RIVER GROVERachael Ray scouted the best hot dog in America and the winner is ... Gene & Jude's in River Grove. The 60-plus-year-old joint bested 64 other places around the country for the title.

RIVER NORTHGraham Elliot revealed its new chef, new vibe and new focus in GE 3.0. The revamped menu was crafted by new chef de cuisine Brian Runge who is doing some great things in the kitchen. Will it get them another Michelin star?

EVERYWHERE—DIY fro-yo spot Forever Yogurt told Eater about plans for a major Chicago-area expansion this year, bringing the total shops to 12 in 2011. One of the first, on Belmont in Lakeview, will have a Red Line theme and possibly even a retired "El" car.
