If you like a somewhat classic, dare we say traditional style, this place is for you. A tipster floated the listing for interior designer Tom Stringer's 1906 Lake View townhouse our way in October, and earlier this week we noticed that the price was reduced for the first time since it was listed last June. As we reported earlier, the 6BD, 6BA greystone was featured in a 2008 Traditional Home spread titled "Friends First," so named because Stinger said that much of the home was designed with entertaining in mind. With 6,600 square feet of floor space and a spacious backyard, it would be a nice place to host friends (or quarter troops). The price was reduced by $175,000 — a mere 5.5% reduction — to $3.1 million (still $1.25 million above what Stringer paid for it in 2005).
