"The property was purchased at the absolute peak of the boom in 2007 for about $55 million I believe. Whatever goes in here is going to need a lot of units for it to happen. I agree about the retail - I don't see how they can get the commitments they were looking at - just look at Borders - the "mega-store" concept is a tough one to sell now-adays and they were counting on many "mega-stores" (movie theatre, grocery, huge gym, etc...") to make this happen.
