This Unit in the Shoemaker Lofts is "Not Perfect, But Willing"

Beginning in 2006, Dubin Residential, the same developer that's looking to rehab the old Spiegel building in Bridgeport, converted Avondale's former Florsheim Shoe factory into the Shoemaker Lofts. Dubin managed to sell most of the lofts, but the resale market been pretty brutal. The note above the closet pretty well sums it up for this 2BD, 1BA unit on the fourth floor. We aren't sure exactly what meaning the previous owner derived from that phrase, but it certainly is creepy. At 10' x 11' and 10' x 10', the bedrooms are pretty cramped; and the bathroom looks serviceable, but uninviting (is that a concrete pillar next to the tub?). So yeah, it isn't perfect, but at the price of $109,900, which is more than $120,000 less than it sold for in 2007, it's quite willing.
