Looks like Stuart Levine's former drug den might finally get demolished after all. Lincolnwood's Purple Hotel was shut down four years ago when inspectors discovered rodent droppings, mold, and a leaky roof, among other violations. Since then, owner Village Resorts Inc. has been trying to sell the place for $25.8 million, without much luck. The Sun-Times reports that a judge signed a consent order allowing the town of Lincolnwood to demolish it on Aug. 1 if Village Resorts doesn't fix the 31 code violations. [Sun-Times]
